The Medici nonrecourse stock loan program gives businesses and institutions access to liquid cash that may be used for any legitimate corporate purpose, including capital investments, paying down other debt, and expanding operations. We originate, fund, and administer all of our loans directly and offer the most favorable loan terms and conditions available in the debt finance industry:

• Any unrestricted publicly traded stock may be used as collateral for a loan, including stock that does not meet standards for margin loans and stock that was recently issued pursuant to an IPO
• During the loan term, the collateral shares are held and managed in an account that Medici establishes for the borrower’s benefit with a leading investment or merchant banking entity
• Loans may not require a transfer of title, thus allowing the borrower to retain and report the stock value on a balance sheet
• Loan underwriting is premised largely on the market value of the stock and its perceived liquidity based on its average trading volume, and the borrower’s credit rating has little or no effect on loan approval
• Because the loan is nonrecourse, the borrower bears little or no risk of exposure to assets other than the stock itself.
